MISSING POWER UNITS

In other news, one we recovered got stolen from the body shop after we had it repaired. Cops found it again yesterday.

edit: **UPDATE** Just heard the cops arrested three dudes when they recovered the tractor. (And some other companies' trailer that was attached to it)
Maybe it's yours @Rob
Glad you got it back. Sad part is these guys already out and most likely stole another one.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when, if you stole something you got your hand cut off. Guess what, people didn't steal shit!!!

I realize it's a little barbaric, but letting people walk with long wrap sheets for theft certainly isn't going to change them, ever. So sad.

Best,
Lucky anyone from the hand choppy off places can now easily come here for a gentle slap on the wrist instead.

Its gotta be much easier for people to steal in this Country nowadays and like you said, even if your caught you get a mild bruise on your wrist for the offence.

Not to harp on it too much, but when I was a kid, 'jewelry theft' on the news I remember was always at night time. A burglar would find a super cool way to break in, disable the camera and make off with their bounty. True professionals in their craft. Punishment was usually jail time rather than a spank on the ass.

Now people walk into the mall with a duffel bag and a hammer in broad daylight, smash the glass, take what they want and leave.

No punishment = no deterrent.

Anyway, I gotta get back to work...

Keep well,
Mike

Why bother working? I'll bring some hammers over and we'll hit up the LCBO

Bruise??? Heck, nothing...just a couple hours in waiting is all you'll lose.

Thanks we are just missing a 2024 Western Star it was not our trailers or loads that where taken. We did get a parking ticket on the unit near Danbro Cres FYI but have yet to see the unit.

Ours picked up a few tickets after it vanished too. Maybe that's a good sign.

They seem to just park them and walk away for a day or so to let the heat cool down or check on tracking maybe? . Jeff Hall found three in same area on his last batch he had stolen.
Maybe. Looked like they were using this specific one to steal trailers or something. It caught a ticket like three weeks after it went missing but when we went there it was gone.

This is the impound yard that had ours, might be worth a call?

SAME CREW sorry All, been a busy couple of weeks will get the promised story up! If your local to the GTA or if your missing units/trailers... send someone out to DANBORO CREST

We had one stolen on Christmas day & we had a few calls/reports of activity while it was missing - including trying to steal trailers from Nestle Purina on Royal Windsor.
Ultimately, someone called in to report it parked in a residential -on Lundys Lane in Brampton & they said there have been multiple stolen trucks parked/ditched there recently, so that seems to be a good place to check if anyone is missing any

I have heard of trailers being at Danbro as well. Not sure why that spot is picked for most swaps or whatever these crooks do?
