Mint Transport ou of concord?

We have used them a few times. According to my dispatch office, they are an average carrier with no record of poor service. Rates are sometimes higher than market average without a corresponding level of superior service. We would use them again.

same here...it has been awhile but had good service with them. Inmy opinion Trevor made the company...very rare to get a dispatcher who works like an owner. don't know if he's still there or not..

This is very funny, got a good reference on here for them I was just trying to call them to give them the load but their phones are disconnected!!!!!!!

Think it's new owners
I just gave them a load last month, not realizing it's new people, they did the job as they indicated they would, Trevor is gone, I think he's set up as a agent for Landstar out of Tweed. Oh Mint now uses a factoring company, as I received a call the next day after delivery wanting to confirm they did the work? Carefully on this one

Factoring Company
Not sure how a factoring company would spell the end is near? i been factoring invoices since 2003 and we are now in 2010 i really hope the end isn't that near.

Me again. Mint used to have an office in the GTA and in Stirling and did a good job for me when I used them. They do NOT have an office in Stirling anymore (the office space is now by someone else). Trevor and the boys are no longer with Mint. They are a Landstar Agent and they have done work me this year and they did do a good job. Trevor's office is in a new location either in Stirling or Belleville. He is a good guy. However, Randy is still with Mint in dispatch. They are based in Woodbridge. Trust me. They are NOT paying their bills at least to me. I can't count the number of times I have left messages and heard from both Michelle and Leo (both are owners of the company), that the cheque is in the mail, they sent post dated cheques (which never came). They both have said they are having money issues...but come on..they can make an effort even if it is a couple of hundred bucks here and there. I did leave a message again over there...905-605-1571 yesterday and it went thru...you have to hit #2 or #3..you very rarely will get through to them though. I have even complained to Randy in dispatch and he says he knows. I assume that means he gets the calls for people that can't get through to the owners. Again, Link only needs one or two more complaints and they will do what they need to. I just spoke with Trevor...HE HAS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MINT FOR 3 YEARS NOW THIS JUNE...HE IS A GOOD GUY AND DON'T PUT HIM WITH MINT NOW...HE IS A LANDSTAR AGENT..AND I JUST CONFIRMED THAT HE IS IN STIRLING. HIS NUMBER DIRECTLY IS 613-395-1888 AND YOU CAN DEAL WITH HIM. JUST STAY AWAY FROM MINT. They may do okay work with their trucks..they just don't pay trucks

Trevor is with Landstar and me as a single truck operation am careful with who I get loads from. Trevor treats me well, he never said anything bad against Mint but I would rather take the loads from Landstar.
