so I think the lesson here is that if you are JonBones you are safe doing business with Millcroft...the rest of us should probably exercise a little caution

I've made no remarks whatsoever about the service or payment of this company. I have called a spade a spade though. Apparently you don't like it. Every time you post without answering DWC, you are proving me right.

I'm done with this thread as I have nothing further to contribute to the content.

If one member has had good experiences with a company that many other members have not, good for them. When that same member starts to criticize the members whose experience was not favourable, one has to wonder why? Nothing against a dissenting view, but I'll throw my lot in with majority opinion.

Enough time has been wasted on this thread. There is plenty of information here for members to form their opinions. No point losing any further "daily productivity" time...

Let's move on & get back to the thread question and intention of the original post.

lol ok so I guess nothing great, I was looking into them and found it very odd that things didn't add up, plus they say they have a Logistics division that does TL and Express division that does LTL
but yet only the Logistics has insurance and operating authority

plus it was NY to AB for an Ontario based carrier...
 
And yet after all that is said and done, he STILL won't reveal his identity. Refusing to answer the question speaks volumes. Basically all I need to know.
 
Everything people post on this site is personal opinion based on circumstances they have experienced. I wouldn't consider anything on this website slander. They're pretty specific about preventing personal attacks between members. But if you believe that is what going to come by everyone on this board finding out who you work for and who you are, I would keep it hidden from everyone too! : D

Some members on this site have nothing to hide as we have fully identified our employers or companies in signature lines in all our messages.
 
I see Millcroft has an ad for Owner Operators and drivers in this month's TruckNews.. I also see Fraiser's add is missing for the first time in awhile. Take it for what it is but it does lead to speculation..
 
Rob lets see how much backup you have? Will take it for what it is and show the last add Frasier had.I am playing SWISS her as everyone is so correct and I am always the bad guy for saying we have had good dealings with TQL and Millcroft Logistics.
 
Anyone having problems with Millcroft paying their bills? Just got an email stating we were lucky we got paid for a past invoice and are now refusing to pay current invoices.
 
This is another company I'm having issues with paying bills. We've got a load our of Arkansas we delivered to them to BC and have not received payment yet.
 
Similar here. Their policy is payment 60 days after receipt of the originals in the mail. Whateverthey call it, it's really a way to justify prolonging the aging and delaying your payment. Quite often even the date of mail receipt seems to have taken an overly long time.

Since I posted last, it was a shit show trying to get paid.

Excuse after excuse.

Then we got sent a cheque in the mail that bounced.

Then, I believe I called again and quite literally lost my shit screaming and yelling and swearing. Then the cheque came.

About a 6-8 month adventure from booking the load to receiving payment. Hope that helps.
