Anyone have dealings with these guys?

We did some local LTL for them back to their dock paid COD via e-transfer.
Their credit isn't too hot so we opted for COD.
After delivery - no response from CSR or Accounting in terms of payment.

**Ended up getting paid.

no new experience but in 2019 we did a load for them from IL TO ON. Cheque was bounced for that freight.

Owner sent us e-transfer after many calls and threat to reach out to customer. they are on DNU

They used to do a lot of work with us, but things change, and we move on.... They were always good with moving our loads but not the other way, no bad experiences with them.

We had a shipment with MIG Freight / MC090634 couple of months ago that they took our customers freight, brought it to their warehouse, reposted the load and got another carrier to do the final delivery.

Carrier is DNU

DNU here as well, poor service, missed deliveries and very aggressive/rude when called on it. Not worth the headache IMO.

I am compelled to share my experience with MIG Freight due to serious concerns regarding their business practices. Specifically:

1. Unpaid driver fees
2. Double brokering loads
3. Non-payment to carriers

Their accountant, Kiran Gill, consistently failed to honor commitments.

Despite these issues, MIG Freight remains operational and continues to solicit business.

I urge others to exercise caution and thoroughly research MIG Freight's practices before engaging.

They do not pay their invoices, we have done a couple shipments for them and invoices are 100+ days some at 150+ days. Accounting will not answer their phone or respond to emails. Dispatch will make excuses such as accounting is not in the office today, they are sick or accounting will call you back. Best thing to do is do not wait till 30 days, reach out to the shippers or receivers to get payment.

Its amazing how long a company can be in business paying their carriers this way. We put them on hold back in November 2020 for getting the round around on payments and lying about mailing cheques.

I saw that coming- June 2024- our first and last order with them. Quick Pay- worst experience. This is what their AP told me-after she said she released the payment and I asked for proof because they were constantly saying they have released it but I knew it was never sent:

We understand how market is going on these days.

But you must have some patient on this.

It’s not we are only processing one single invoice.

We have divers and few other carriers as well including you.

If I have already emailed, you in this morning then be little patience so once the accounting will be free, they will send you a proof of payment.

She basically told me there's bunch of other people looking for payment ; also there were reviews from drivers too.

The only reason we go paid was we were calling/emailing them every hour to get updates, followed up constantly, involved their entire team- Basically made it a hell for them and they had to pay to get rid of us.
