Hopefully it's settled, it sounds like they have come to terms with most of the sticking points.

thinking they must be close, they are not doing a pre-shutdown like CP did last year.

They are running not shutting down
East trains will be running via management expect 24 hour delay on train to Halifax
West trains will be running via USA, US customs already set up with in-transit bond expect 48 hour delay on freight on these lanes
will be bit of cluster to start but seems like they will keep freight moving........

Sorry I missed mentioning this is only Intermodal business no carload business is moving so this is only 10% of CN business and must keep moving to keep ports fluidity

The VIA Rail operations and any other transit functions are not affected. There is a separate agreement for those.

Intermodal traffic is moving per schedule CN advised above at the moment. Picket lines are slowing ingate/outgate

I'm sure traffic has moved to CP as well as they had capacity.

Update

Trains running East without delays
Trains running West via Chicago so their is 48 hour delay
Most containers stuck in system from strike moving to destination
CN ingates are issue with waiting time from pickets
CP seems to be running without delays with extra cans so far but it's early still
