Hence the name McVean ... my guess he built that house off the backs of people they scammed.

Yup ... that's what I meant. I'm betting that the family has owned the land for a long time. The Mitri's have a long lineage in bulk transportation in particular, they had safety issues with wheels flying off trucks some years ago that did that business in.

Looking for update on McVean Logistics. Anyone have recent dealings?

Mcvean Logistics and Mitri S Haulage, same owners, are very bad companies in Mississauga Ontario. The worst company to work with as a driver. They often do not pay drivers.And worst is they do not give you any reference when you apply to another company. They just ignore it.So that they can get away with not paying the driver i.e no proof.Avoid these companies in Mississauga.Mcvean Logistics used to cut on my paychecks;and when I decided to leave, refused to pay me my last paycheckand when I needed reference so that I can work for another company, they did not respond to any employer I applied for, for reference.
