Martin Services

hasn't been in business for a month yet, business address is a house...

Just did a reverse look up on the number he calls from (973-655-1203) and it's for and electronics store: 77 Pleasant Ave. | Montclair, NJ 07042
Phone: 973-655-1203, 888-380-4801 | Fax: 973-655-0883

License plate number

That number starting with VE2 is his license plate number for his car, all HAM radio operators in Quebec have license plate numbers starting with those digits.

Ve2qip

HHT,
This is a call sign for a ham radio operator. VE2 signifies Quebec, VE3 - Ontario, etc.
The contact info for this Ham Radio operator license is:
Sergei Kubarev
166 RUE JOLY
L'ILE BIZARD, QC H9E 1E4
Canada
This is as per filing with Industry Canada as of Dec./08
Also, this person moved to Calgary and his call sign now is: VE6QIP

It seems that the person now residing at 166 rue Joly, and operating a trucking business, is not the same as listed above.

Google maps for this address show a run down residential area.

haha yes, just go drive by his place tonight and ask to see his digs lol, "here is my couch, this is my phone, and here is my stolen laptop
Do you have truck in Montreal to go out for $0.95/mile?"

ahaaahaaha...

We had Nicolas from an 862 area code to offer us this load. His info came over onto our fax machine from a 514 area code... haaahaa... How surprising...

After we told Nicolas we didn't want to do it we got a call from Martin himself. Martin says he is actually a factoring company, but his paperwork shows that his fleet includes double drops, flatbeds, etc... I don't know too many factoring companies that run their own tractor trailers so we declined to do the load. My dispatcher asked me to check it out and the MC # they gave us as MC710077 shows as not valid on the safersys site. So I came here to and searched for Martin Services... haahahaa... My dispatcher and I got a good laugh out of all that has been said...

I too will be pulling someone's finger before I pull this load from the twilight zone...

And the Ham operator stuff... ahaahaaa.. just weird...

Well, lets see who is next in line to get a call from these freaks.

MC710077 is valid for a broker, been in business for less than a month...

Weird. I went to safersys.org where you can check on a carrier's safety rating and this is what I got.

No records matching MC/MX Number = MC710077 were found in the SAFER database

Yes I found them on there as well, needless to say I told him where to put his load. It didn't really help Martin (Martin Dennis is his name) very much when I could hear his kids yelling and screaming in the background either. Must've been a PD day.......LOL
