Does anyone have any information on the service provided by this carrier out of Mississauga?
 
We did use them for the one shipment. Haven't used them since. Their references checked out fine and they communicated properly while doing the transport. Fairly sure they are a small outfit and I would use them again.
 
they've done some small shipments for me... no real problems... all loads went well except one, but it wasn't a big deal....

decent guys... worth giving freight too
 
Used them and would use them again. Loaded and delivered as planned no delays from my end. referencing 1 load
 
Not happy with service at all. I give a shipment from DC to KW and schedule is going to take from Wednesday to Monday ? I can't sell that kind of service. Turns out the dispatcher DIDN'T tell my people, he was ENROUTE to NC still. What the HECK !!! "Nobody told us it needed to be expedite "...2 day service is expedite ? Get your head out of your sand...5 days is BC and Cali Dude....they make it to my DNU list :mad:

Sounds like your dispatcher didn't care to ask what their schedule was. If the carrier knew they still had to go to NC I'm sure they didn't promise you Friday delivery. I consider that transit time three days unless KW was open Saturday and willing to move freight around? Three days doesn't seem that outlandish on ltl. I gave them some freight On-Va and they were a day late due to the blizzard that hit the east coast. I would use them again.
 
I have used Magnum for VA and IL. They did a fantastic job for me and even faxed me the POD's the next day ( I didnt even ask for it) I absolutely will keep using them!

My dispatchers are quite specific about our expectations, and my work orders are sent in writing. What would make you jump to the conclusion that my dispatcher made a mistake ? My order indicated delivery Thursday, so if he couldn't do that why pickup the freight ? Why not call and simply say I can't do that. No one's going to fault you for giving back freight 5 minutes after you booked it if you simply can't do what's been requested. This is a service business, not a truck loading business. I would boast about a service that was so good they phoned right back and said "we can't do this", and I sure wouldn't be writing about it here. This isn't TT or CHR, I make my living doing a good job, not on volume of cheap freight. We had a truck leaving with said goods to go to Vancouver tonight. The BC leg of this trip is going by faster then DC to KW. Brilliant.
 
Oh your one of those guys who likes to put details in the fine print but doesn't feel the need to mention it on the phone. I'd bet big money your dispatcher didn't say I need this D.C. ltl picked up on Wednesday & delivered Thursday and I'd double the bet that the Magnum dispatch didn't say "noproblembuddy" if it was mentioned.
 
Gave Magnum a shipment last week with a Saturday delivery. Dispatch kept in touch prior to pick up and everything checked out well with the delivery on Saturday. Would certainly use again!
 
I've used these guys 5 times in the last two months.

Each time they've met or exceeded my expectations on Pick up and delivery times.

I would most certainly offer them freight again.
 
Magnum still in business? If not, who are you using out of Virginia (besides omni-present Synergy)?
