We have no problem getting paid from them however I know there pay you how you pay them so if you have given them freight and took 90 days they will return the favor

It's interesting how they made such fanfare about taking over LE Walker and how they would be such a strong company yet these posts keep coming up. Also they put LE Walker in bankruptcy protection just before Christmas which my guess was the plan all the time.....get the customers moved over and walk away from everything else. This speaks volumes as to what type of company they operate.

guess we should count ourselves lucky. Last loads were Nov and we were paid within 60 days

I last collected from them in June 2009. I was paid 71 days after invoice date. I have one current invoice from mid-Feb 2010 outstanding at this time. Have not contacted them yet. We'll see...

Sounds almost as if any invoices that landed on Mackinnon's doorstep anywhere near Christmas must have got knackered by the merger with L.E. Walker is my theory. The aging of the invoices people are talking about kind of coincides with when they might have been in some chaos. I know that the company I worked at did quite a bit of work with L.E. Walker and when we heard that the Tanguays had sold out to Mackinnon, any business we were giving or taking kind of seemed to end there.

They MUST be in trouble I have an invoice at 90 days and getting the usual run around. There has to be at least 3 complaints logged at link logistics by now?? Why are they still posting loads? Or is Link's 3 strikes your out policy just fluff ?
I think Link's policy should sound more like.....
We don't care if you don't pay carriers, as long as you keep paying us.

Ah - but the secret to the 3 complaints policy is that someone has to make the official complaint. Pryor to maligning, perhaps you should call Link and lodge a complaint - yours may well be the third they require!
