M&M Carriers

Have used them on and off over the past 5 years. No problems. Dry freight only I don't believe they have any reefers yet.

Service was is always on time. Can usually get Manny or Dhillon after hours if there are any questions or concerns.

I would use them again.

Used them a couple of times in the past
Booked a load on friday to pickup today in El Paso
Tried to reach them all day, without success
Finally got a hold of someone (don't know his name, did not speak english very well...)
They decided to not pickup that load without calling us to advise. Now, I don't have a truck and my customer is really furious...
How come carriers book load and cancel without advising the customer, even if we're a broker? I know many carriers don't like to use brokers and I respect that...but COME ON!!! This is so frustrating....Guess it's the game!! Don't know how they would react if I book a load with them, and cancelled without letting them know, so they can show up at the shipper and then, call us because there is no load to pickup!! Would I be able to do such a thing...NO cause despite the fact that we're a broker and all, I actually respect HUMAN beings...
Twice in one day....At least, the day is about to end so....:)

I guess you have Bad luck, cause I use M & M at least 3 times a week and they are always on time and never bail on us, they probably realized that you where a small time broker and wouldn't pay your bills!!!!
 
What does being a small time broker have to do with paying bills.

I am a smaller company ( 3 employees ) been around 6 years and paid all my bills on 30 days or less. Its that attitude that goes around which makes it hard for legitimate smaller companies to get off the ground.

I fought tooth and nail when I opened to build credit with carriers, but dealt with the ones like YOU all the time. Guess who's ass they are kissing now for freight.

You want fair rates and to be paid on time from brokers, lose the childish and unbusinesslike attitude of Small brokers don't pay their bills. Did you forget about all the large companies which have dissappearred in the last 4 years... they didn't end up paying ANYONE.... unless you wanted 1 of their 5000 trailers they couldnt keep operating.

if your gonna cancel a load - tell the broker - its decency and good ethics in business.

Agreed!

This is just as important as when the volume of a shipment changes and we are sure to contact the carrier contracted as quickly as possible as it may impact their other plans... Quick and detailed communication is the way to go for everyone involved.

More to the point - this thread is about M & M, it's been a long time since we worked together, I've no recent update regarding service but I do remember in 2008-2009 the service was top notch...

I'm pretty sure there is a rule on this website that flaming other members is not allowed...

That being said, Mr / Ms Moderator, I'm about to break that rule and apologise in advance...

That has to be the most ludicrous and stupid statement any human being has ever said on here (and I've read quite a few) and you sir (or madam) are not just an idiot but a moron as well. I hope you get your just rewards.

To the rest of the people on here that adhere to the rules, I apologise for my brief tantrum but could not stand by and let this pass.

Yeah...we are a small time broker with 40 containers, 4 dry boxes, 12 actual trucks, and many more to come this year....and....like 60 employees....yeah, we're pretty small!! :)

I cannot speak for other people, but whoever calls here gets the same respect from me, whether you have a multi-G account, or once a year customer...

My opinion only.

I remember the days Traffic Tech was.... .well... more respectable... you know... when you were small ~!..
