Carrier provided 6 cab cards that show these units are registered under their Authorities and Company name.

We called Insurance to verify and they advised they were only insured for one truck.

Since all the details provided showed the units in their name there would be no coverage in the event of any accidents on those trucks as they wouldn't fall under non owned and clearly aren't included in the policy.

They made the DNU list for us.

If you did want to use them would call their insurance to see if they have gotten things amended with their policy before giving them your freight.

I bet if you really look over the cab cards you'd find that there was some fraudulent amendment. Are the cab card serial numbers sequential?

doesn't appear to be, I could be wrong though - They are actually receipts from SGI for Saskatchewan Certificate of Registration paperwork - not Cab cards

This is their one insured unit according to their insurance team.

some of the additional Vins they provided were below - all showing to be listed in their name
AKJGLD50GSGY3155 - 2016 Freightliner Heavy Vehicle
1XKAD49X3AJ945329 - 2010 Kenworth Heavy Vehicle
1FUJGLD5OFLGB3077 - 2015 Freightliner Heavy Vehicle

They did also include the same paperwork for their insured unit looks legit.

My thoughts are they could be trying to save money on insurance costs by not claiming all their trucks ?

VIN 1 is the same as the one in the schedule except it is missing the first digit. Vin3 is invalid - there are no letter O's in a VIN. My guess is that VIN2 and VIN3 are owned by them but not plated.

If you're correct that they are not insuring all their trucks, do you want to take a chance that your load is on an uninsured unit?
