Good day everyone....
Trying to get some LTL Reefer carriers that actually do LTL reefer from QC and ON to the US
Always had a lot of problem with these...
Anyone has some good name for us?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks guys!

Thanks Ralph!

I will try them AGAIN. But each time, my contact is telling me something that makes them not able to help me!
Maybe she don't want to do business with us or they don't like brokers!

But I will try again!

Thanks for the reminder!

Misto,

What temperature are you looking to run? Fresh, frozen or heated? Where in the U.S. are you looking to go?

Erb will be expensive, yes. Try also Quik-X as they do LTL. It will depend on what lanes you're talking about and what temperature you're looking for. The moment you start talking about offline points, those carriers will do it only at their convenience or tell you that a beyond agent doesn't provide reefer service.

Midland Transport is a good candidate but keep in mind that last sentence I just mentioned when you're dealing with them. I recall instances when "heat" really only was to the border and then you were at the whimsy of the beyond carrier.

My best and only other advice is make sure your bill of lading spells out what kind of reefer service you need or you'll have claims.

Good luck.

Hi Buddy!

For this particular case, I need the freight to be kept between 2C and 8C.
And they have freight going each and every week to:
CT, NH, CA ( about 4 destinations ), CO, FL

But all in all, as a broker I usually refuse all what is LTL reefer as it usually means claims... But this time, it's about 20 skids total LTL per week going to those points so it's a good volume!

Hmm...well, that means that NH and CT, conceivably, could go to one carrier as a lane and the others are odd. You might be able to persuade a carrier that runs CA to also take CO as part of a package. And there should be a mess of reefer carriers that could do FL. The temperature range is not bad (about the temperature you could run some fruits and vegetables at.)
