Looks like freight will pick up next week

We have been quoted $6900.00 Ontario to St John's, NF. Before the world shifted we were asking and getting $8500.00. I asked why the rate dropped so much considering that fuel is only down 9%. Answer was "that's what trucks are saying they will run for". Sometimes we are our own worst enemy.
That one was also easy to decline.
people have asked for deferral on their equipment for 60-90 days. so they are not really losing much if they just run the trucks

could it be moving via OceanX? Still seems lows via that service but I'm sure they are looking to fill the boat with cutting one sailing a week already ex MTL

On deferral payments, you end up paying more interest, so, yeah, you are still losing to run a truck.
