Looking to put truck on with a company or work with direct customers

Good day to all, I want to introduce my self. My name is Ben and i am the owner of JBB Group Inc. based out of Brighton Ontario. I have 25 years in the trucking industry as a driver and in the last 2 years I decided to become an Owner Operator. I currently have 2 trucks and 1 trailer, but I have 1 truck and trailer leased on to a company and want to find full time work for the other unit. I unfortunately don't currently have a CVOR or MC# yet as I have always had my units leased on with someone. I want to take it further and go independent and work with direct customers. Or I am willing to lease the unit onto someone else with a driver in it. I specialize in Step deck and related freight. However willing to put the truck on pulling anything. If you know of a company looking for dedicated carrier or a company that needs work done, please contact me so we can discuss our future. I am willing to hear people out, yes I am also well aware that the trucking industry is not in the greatest shape currently.

First of, welcome to the club!
Now a few words from the ex..
I don't think we have any regular members as shippers or receivers here..
Mostly freight brokers, carriers, insurance brokers, financial and legal advisors..
It's 99,9% imposible to just ask and get dedicated run with one truck right away, unless you have personal connection.
It takes some time to know you and quality of your servise, before someone will consider to agree to your request.
A big hint: when you asking for a job, you have to go lower on your pricing, but when you are offered such job, you may negotiate better rate.
In the mint time, look around, ask question and analyze the info.
Better start wirh the brokers, although it may be a bit tough now since you showed your cards already, if you know what I mean..

Welcome Ben! You will find this forum a great asset as you grow your business.... Lots of talented experienced people... some with university educations, others with PhD's from the trucking school of hard knocks... either way both types will be able to provide you with excellent industry advice.
