Looking for Sales & Dispatch People

we have 3 desks open, soon 4 (replacement), so we are looking to hire 3 permanent people, either sales or dispatch.

must be bilingual, English being the most important, needs computer knowledge, geography knowledge, must be a people person.

no experience needed, unless you want to be in sales, then we need to discuss.

Sales Reps are very difficult to find today as our industry has changed with regards to the way in which "sales" are conducted. I also find that many that seek sales positions never come forth with their "established 5 million in revenue per year in sales" at ABC Company-most sales are actaully done inside an organization, your CSR, your dispatcher etc...- and lets face it todays approach to sales is not that back door way.....the doors are locked now. Just my 2 cents - we will all have our own idea.

for sure it isn't an easy task, a lot of calls need to be made to close one sale.

The days of an account following around a sales rep are pretty much done. Sales is still important no doubt, it's just the manner of how it's done and the nature of communicating that really has changed. The sales process is also much longer than it used to be.

agreed! it isn't a one call, tele marketing type sales process. it's long & the customer has to really feel you out before he gives you his business.

after all it is a lot of money travelling in those trailers!
