What does everyone think of Loadlink online?

We preferred the Version 1.08 but they are discontinuing as of September and we will need to go over to the online version.

How many people here use Loadlink and what's your thoughts of Loadlink Online?

I'd be interested in hear comments about this. We're currently using 1.08. I was unaware that it is being discontinued.

We use version 2.07 and haven't ran into any problems yet.

version 2.8

Is 2.8 web based or similiar to the 1.8 with the ability charge for each user. Do you save the data base on your own computer, or at Link. Would like to know this, so I will know what to do during a power outage

V2.8, as per Loadlink is software based, NOT WEB BASED...

They re-tooled V1.08 and added Link-Chat and an internal communicator plus a few other very minor changes... It works exactly like V1.08 plus a few new features that you are sure to love. Anyways, that's the sales pitch I got....

Still haven't had a chance to go through it...

New version updated......SUCKS! And they still charge $4100 per year for 1 user. And they still continue to allow non paying "brokers" that work from their basement be a member...oh that's right....Loadlink gets richer while the carriers get screwed! Congratulations Loadlink! You once had a great item, but now you have become no better than the "brokers" that dont pay their bills for services rendered.

Bailey, I agree that Loadlink is perhaps over priced for the service they provide and their lack of screening new members for creditworthiness. However, according to Link, the majority of the loads posted on a daily basis, are posted by carriers, not brokers. In addition, from the posts on this site, it would appear that the "non-payers" are fairly evenly split between carriers acting as brokers, and actual freight brokers. An unpaid bill regardless if it was tendered to a broker or a carrier, is still an unpaid bill and worthy of your fury.

$4100 a year for one user?! They charge us $7200 a year for one user! What's going on here lol.

I think we are $ 6200 for 4 users (525 p/mth), Gold package, with Dat.
New version 2.08 .net is the worst, it crashes 3-4 time a day per user, locks up and freezes everything on your computer.

We've been using for a few months and it's not bad but still not worth the 6 grand plus a year but, what's better out there?
ITS with its crappy ITS2? Load-Surfer (no thank-you)? Get Loaded (again, nope)? Did I miss any?
Ours doesn't crash half as often as the old version did but it does take over your computer.
Will have to talk to them about this.

We're paying $6600 for 3 users (Platinum Package), using the latest 2.80 version. Haven't had any problems with it from a technical point.

Talked to them this morning and it was a compatibility issue on our system.
They fixed it and now it's running with no glitches, freezing up, or taking over our system.

The Link

Well I just suspended my account for a couple of months. I first used the Link to meet people and establish contacts for the lanes I run. I find Link to be an auction house for cheap freght for the most part. It allows all these people that we can't get paid from access to us. I don't see why we couldn't use a site like this to move our excess freight. At least we have some reliable people on here that pay their bills. My Opinion.
