I did not expect these many responses to my post on this old thread.
Of course it seems impossible but Tesla also seemed impossible against 100 year old companies. until they hustled for 20 years.
Which boards have you guys tried? What is your biggest issue with those boards?
How much would you pay for a licence per month?

Fee isn't the issue. It's like paying for one cable channel that only plays shows in Chinese. Then once a week at some random time it airs an episode of Breaking Bad or whatever. I still hit up Cargado, but it's just not gaining traction. And most of the loads on there seem to be TQL postings.

I hear you. Doft and EvoTrux were another loadboards but not sure what happened with them.
The most challenging part is convincing the customers/brokers to start posting on another loadboard. It will take alot of time and efforts to get every customer onboarded on to a new loadboard. its a challenge but I am so tired loadlink that I am up for a tough challenge.
Will start brainstorming some ideas.

Tesla did it with literal billions of dollars and an insane lunatic who refuses to accept no.

Just need someone like that for a load board and we are in business!

Anyone got the email from Loadlink today updated T&C (Terms and conditions)?

They updated some terms that have me a bit concerned

Especially:

Company is permitted to electronically transmit information concerning transportation related services. Loadlink’s standard service permits the number of users in a single office specified on the registration form. Users may be limited per number of registered trucks.

Company’s use of On-Line Services may be subject to a usage limit based on fair usage which is defined as:

i) five (5) equipment postings per day per account user.

Maybe they are trying to clean up the multiple trucks posted that are not available?

Carriers will want the phantom load postings for rates gone as much as brokers do, but it seems they need brokers more.

There are some other clauses like them reserving the right to charge you for technical support. First three calls a month are free, then they will charge you $100 a month.

To me that is ridiculous. If I am having issues with your program you'll want to charge me for the opportunity for you to fix it?

Last 3 months I've been getting into it with their accounting team. My credit card on file expired and they kept charging my old one, even when I talk to accounting, give the, the new CC info and assure me all is taken care of. It's getting annoying.
