We gave them a load to California in January of this year. They in turn double brokered the load to another carrier. Load Specialist has been paid, has not paid the carrier and is now claiming that there bank accounts are frozen.

We are working with the carrier that actually moved the load to get this issue resolved.
 
Not sure if this is much help for your situation or not but I happened to pass a Load Specialist trailer last night heading westbound on 401 from Toronto being pulled by a "Southwest Carriers" truck which is a part of Canamex/Carbra group from previous posts on here. It was a decent looking reefer trailer with Load Specialist decals, not sure if they bought up some equipment of theirs or if they were just pulling a load for them on their trailer? Again, it may have no relevance to your situation or it might be enough to connect some of the dots possibly?
