Hello,

Posting this thread here for perhaps more visibilty. i have original under" New technology".

I need to know what other carriers are paying for Load link membership. It seems like they are charging without any pre-set rate.

We have " Platinum Power Package" mentioned as Item number- "PLATINUMPLUS M" Description- "LINKPLATINUM PLUS" billed at base price- $1533.65 incl one user. Each additional user- $95.19.

I reached out to them to inquire, they said another lower package costs $1427.88 base + $95.19 additional user.

Is this what everyone is paying. They are not giving any satisfactory responses.

In business, companies make decisions about margins. Everyone here does. I'd have a hard time believing that everyone here makes the same margin on every load and the same margin from every customer. It's no different here. A client who has been a loyal customer for 20+ years may get a different package and pricing structure than someone who just signed up. I sure would reward the long time customers that helped me build my business.

My 5 cents,
Mike

I'm not sure I believe anyone would increase prices 300%. There's got to be more to those stories.

Yeah totally understandable. That's what I told the rep too. We have been their customer from over 10 years. With them, I dont really understand how they are charging. I have inquired a lot of companies- some are new, some are old customers. I dont know what it is but I feel like they keep charging until we question them.

Woww, that's insane. Are you subscribed to any other features such as rate index etc.?
Yes, what we have is called "Platinum Power". There's only 2 platinum pacakges, the other one is basic and only difference is that one dosent have the index, but they quoted us $1427.88.

Not sure if when you signed up makes a difference but I have asked a friend of mine who signed up last year and he is paying $1000+

Yeah, apparently our account doesn't have any manager assigned. But below is what I have been receiving since day 1:

"Apologies for the delayed response. We have already raised the concern to the management and awaiting to hear back on the issue. Also, as explained earlier prices are not standard across the board and depends on the individual circumstances and account".

"As mentioned on the trailing email, I am awaiting to hear back on your account to understand the changes and pricing. Allow us to get back to you on the same. I have raised your concern with our director, and we will share a clear and detailed explanation on your charges from our end."

Then I checked reviews on google and I see other companies have same issue too. This is so frustrating. They know what they are doing!

In other words, their prices are based on how much they can milk you and your willingness to bend over.

Not a good way to do business. But again they know they are needed and people will pay, if they dont there are other options available, not much recourse against them.

Why haven't people switched to a competitor? what are the competitors missing that load link has besides the large member base. this type of service should really only cost between 100-200 per month.
