had to get into another scam to pay the lawyer so he chose trucking?

That's the guy I've been dealing with.

So far nothing but false promises to pay. He said he'd be making partial payments but so far I have not seen a dime.

5625$ From 2024

We did some loads for him. He will tell you he will pay, but in reality, he will never pay. After 2 years, my accounting department keeps calling him. HE WILL NEVER PAY ANYONE. He’s a thief.

I SUGGEST everyone file a complaint against him on LOADLINK. His account is still active while carriers like us are left chasing money owed for work already completed.

2024???? That’s about 18 months late for some serious collection action. The time for phone calls is long past, along with posting a complaint with LoadLink. You need to contact an experienced transportation paralegal and get this deadbeat into Small Claims Court as soon as possible. As someone else said, contact their surety bond holder and claim against it. If he is a licensed freight broker in Ontario, he is supposed to maintain a trust account to pay carriers. Whew, if you’re serious about getting paid, it’s time to play some hard ball!

Linkr's bond has since been revoked and I believe his listing on SAFER has been deleted/removed.

I know he's opening a US LLC and starting some operations down south. More or less the same name, Linkr. Stay far, far away.
