Sorry if I'm posting this on the wrong section.

Heard that Liaisons Can US filed for bankruptcy and are closing doors? Wasn't able to have a confirmation, does someone knows if this is for a fact or only false rumor?

We work around the corner from them and there are no more trailers in sight. Always nice tractors and clean trailers, don't know them on the service level.

Heard this from two different sources today, though a search at Industry Canada did not indicate any bankruptcy filing. There is also a recent lawsuit in Florida (details of which I am attempting to get) where Jackson's Farming Company of Autryville was suing Can/US as well as the directors.

I heard from a couple of X employees that Liaison Can/US filed for bankruptcy.

Well I called them and the receptionist confirmed that It is official today ..
So sad...

I heard they went into the food brokerage business where they would buy a load of oranges in Florida and bring them to Quebec to sell them. I don't know much more than that but I know there are a lot of sharp cookies in that business and you have to get up pretty early in the morning and once you put your pants on you have to count the fingers in your pockets.
