I have an invoice that is from December 2, 2010 that is still outstanding. Get nothing but the run around from everyone in the company. Keep promising to send cheque at the end of the month. Sorry not sure what month they meant. Still have not got payment and I think they could be in trouble. I am doing the Bill of Lading Act on them and hopefully get this resolved or light a match under them.

This is just a warning to all of you.

I was wondering when someone would say something about this outfit. I had never heard of them and all of a sudden they are calling almost on a daily basis looking for trucks. I did not get a warm and fuzzy about them so I gave them my go away 5-6 dollar a mile rates!!

Same problem

I had originally posted to this to the wrong forum:

"We have been having trouble collecting from Lexington Freight Solutions out of Vaughan, ON. Anyone else? We’ve been trying to collect on an invoice from October 2010 with no luck. Lies, lies and more lies. The cheque is in the mail…Oops! We mailed it to the wrong address…Finally they sent post-dated cheques to pay off the invoice, but the first one bounced. When we called them about it, they said they needed time to look into it. The cheque shouldn’t have bounced because they had set aside the money for the cheque. What ever!!!!

Well, the saga continues...I got the returned cheque in the mail - it wasn't NSF, but "Stop Payment".

Just wanted to up-date everyone...Lexington is still in business, but for how much longer, I don't know. I continue to phone and hound them to no avail. Their automated phone answering system is gone. Their accounting department and all managers only work in the evenings. They do not return calls.
Like the previous post says - "better to squash this bug".
 
We finally got our money from December. We did the bill of lading act and got paid. Try that and good luck all.
 
Lexington freight

Wish my dispatchers were on this site and checked the reference about them. Lexington charged someone $1250 and gave us the shipment for $1500.00.

And now everytime I call in, guy named Ryan takes all the information again - and says Joe will call back - he never does.

I contacted the shipper and they are looking in to it. And guess what - Lexington is not answering their calls either.
Shipper said that they have to find the way to pay us.

Scmc - I am with you to put this bug away. Will update once hearing from shipper again.

yeah....Lexington freight not answering anymore. Couple weeks ago Randy was answering the phone and kept saying Joe will call u back.
Now they are gone. I just forward all my invoices ($4200) to collection agency. Let see how it goes.
