Everybody hauls something, and everything has to be hauled by someone.
Take cotton balls for instance ... somebody has to haul them !!!
Just for fun ... what is the weirdest/oddest/funniest/strangest/heaviest/lightest load you have hauled or caused to be hauled?

Tow examples from me:
Chicago to Simcoe ... 42,500 lbs of bubble gum balls ... the ones that go in the bottom of sherbert cups.
North Carolina to Ontario ... 1 x 35 kg keg of pharma worth $13,000,000.00 !!!!
 
Back in February of 94, during frozen rain, bobtail from Concord to Fort Erie to Customs parking lot to hook up to 20' container to park at the dock for inspection.
On the floor were only two small handful packages of wall calendars.. And then took it to Concord.....

Ice cream on a flatbed (in January). we were flat out of reefers.. it was COLD.. and the owner of the carrier I worked for made that executive decision. Fortunately it worked out. Receiver pretty much said WTH??? Especially when another carrier pulled right in beside us with a reefer... delivering a machine. Receiver just shook his head..

rolls of paper from Los Angeles to St John's via intermodal then turned into lotto tickets for BC lotto so then onto team truck to Vancouver

4 x 45' 6" x 12 x 12 silos from Cotulla TX to St John's .... hit a bit of snag as was during spring thaw and they forgot about the weight of all the paint on them from repainting over the years so had to have them sit in Ontario for couple weeks until it was done
 
Truckload of dead baby ducks from Indiana to Toronto ...........

Full load of extra large bull penis from Iowa to Kitchener ............... Schneiders LOL ....... they don't call them red hots for nothing .........

4 pallets dried bovine blood from a slaughter house in Iowa (used for colouring in sausage) mhmmmm.
 
We actually just shipped via air freight 14 skids of new empty beer cans from the UK to Toronto as the brewery (one of the big boys) had an issue with their supplier in Ontario. The cost was astronomical however, not having cold beer in stock next week would have been more detrimental to them. So for those of you enjoying a cold beer next week, you're welcome! ;-)

This jarred loose a memory for me... If any of the more senior members here remember Albion Hills Industries (Bryan & Steve)... I used to work at a company that did a lot of his city work. He hauled one of the old zamboni's out of the Boston Garden basement. This one was built on an old army jeep. Albion dropped it to our dock and we brought it to Zamboni in Brantford. They rebuilt it and sent it to the hockey hall of fame in Toronto.
