Kbt transport aka silver star transportation

I can't find any of the kbt threads showing how bad they are, could they have been takin down? In any event I found that their new name and link acct is Silver Star Transportation contact is Bar (aka no problem buddy). Beware of these people they have been known to take 3 weeks to deliver ltl and then charge you double or make you pay c.o.d. and then take you to court for more.
If someone has freight on board with them this week from western Canada to Ontario pm me they are having issues you should know about.
 
You're absolutely right MarkD... the original thread does seem to have disappeared. I have a copy of "KBT Transport e-mail received"
"Good morning everyone. Just letting you know to stay away from KBT out of Brampton Ontario. They hold freight hostage demanding more money or they will not deliver your freight. They do not pay their bills and then even when one goes to their office to collect they give you a postdated check short paid and say that one should be happy with something as opposed to nothing. People like this do not belong in our industry."
 
Actually it hasn't disappeared. The one issue I have with this website is the searches. I searched under "Brampton" and the thread does appear. I have found this other times, also. Sometimes the search comes up empty when I know that there are recent threads.

As a carrier and broker it is hard to believe companies like this exist out there. Hopefully sites like this one will help to weed them out.
 
when I searched for "silver" the thread appeared.... which leads to the next question > > > Silver Star Transport has 3 displays in Link.. 1 in Brampton with no cr rating & 1 in Mississauga & 1 in SK... are these in anyway connected??
 
the silver star in brampton & mississauga are the same people but will try and hide that fact. the silver star in sk has no relation.

Just wanted to warn everyone that our famous friends are back! Balvir or Bal as he is calling himself now called me today for some BC freight I had posted. Which I might add there were no leads for on my end but somehow he could see my freight, hmmm.
I recognized his voice right away, there is no mistaking it. I asked his company name and he told me "Ontario Inc, National Carrier" "I have new equipment, clean trailers, good driver's" he said. Uhuh. I asked where he was from cause I've never heard of them, "oh Brampton, very good place" uhuh. Anyway I told him thanks for the rate I will let you know.
They are not listed anywhere on the Link (not sure how they are seeing postings) they are actually 1776944 Ont Inc. Safer shows them as having 1 truck & 1 driver.
Be aware if these people call you!! I know it is them (KBT) phone number is 905-790-3599 guy calls himself Bal.

Yup - I'd posted about these guys last year and had them reported to credit agency services. Just a bunch of liars and cheats.

All still alive and well ... watch out for a man by the name of Bar Singh. This guy talks fast and loud. You just know you are being lied to. Also watch for another affiliation with the above referenced group of companies: 1776944 Ontario Inc. We have caught them double brokering.

We have also determined that these companies are banned from Load Link so they obviously have a legitimate Link member feeding them information on postings.

BOTTOM LINE: Do not give them any shipments!
