Anyone have any input on this broker out of Hamilton? Maybe be affiliated with carrier SDS Inc from Mississauga.

AR@DRC,

How did this work out for you in the end?

Any feedback you can provide on KBMF?

Getting the run around from KaySea of KBMF at 70 days, says the cheque is in the mail today. Considering the excuses to get payment info, I'm not holding my breath. After all she is very busy and always has to get back to you on another day.

I am now having trouble contacting these people for payment. They do not answer the phones at any extension and they have not returned our messages. I was going to show up at their door, but when I looked them up it appears their corporate address is some apartment building in Hamilton.

KaySea got back to me last week to notify me of a mailed cheque.

Payment was received this week around 70 days.

we get paid by them in 90 day ranges...mostly we only talk via email and demand for payment notifications...

We are at 85 days. Spoke to the owner Mike Brewer who claims to be dealing with taking a big hit earlier in the year. He is going to direct deposit our money ASAP. He said he can close up and open under a different name tomorrow or try to pay everyone so that's what he is doing...

NO they are not going to close and re-open like other brokers and carriers out there just because they fell behind due to a non-paying customer. Everyone has trouble sometimes and give him the chance to make it right.
They are trying and willing to work with carriers to get back on track. Offering direct deposit so you do not have to wait longer for the mail as they are aware some invoices are behind, not all, just some. They are not going anywhere and values his company as he has never NOT paid a carrier, maybe late but always paid. They got put in a bad spot from a non-paying customer for a large amount of money, which I am sure we have all been there before and they are trying there best to pay all invoices in a timely fashion. Things are improving and looking to be back on track. If you have any questions just call him and talk to him, he is a good person to work with. Drive safe.!! Thanks.

You have to be incorporated to have the link opscenter.
This is 2015 what does it matter where someone has their location, brokers 99 % run business out of their home office, saves money. Not to mention carriers dispatch working out of their home with kids and babies screaming in the background. It is he way of life now, why rent expensive office space to hold your laptop and printer.

I really don't care anymore, as I have been paid and have moved on.

But since you decided to reply to a post I made over 5 months ago to ramble on about 99% of brokers working from home offices, kids and babies screaming, and expensive office space... here goes...

I was posting about not being able to get in touch with a company that owed me money. I mentioned that they run their business out of an apartment building so that other members could have that information to make informed decisions about who they do business with.

For the record, I have no problem with anyone who wants to run their business out of an apartment building, or even a garden shed for that matter. The problems occur for me when that business does not answer the phones or return messages in a timely manner, especially when they are past due on payment.

DONT USE>. Billed out May .. still not paid as of today .. Put them in Collections.. Collections closed the account.. NOT PAID>. how do these people move freight.. ??
