I'll clarify why I'm asking. We have had our first load go well also, however I was contacted today to be a service reference for this carrier (with one load in the system). I was a little taken aback and posted here expecting 1 of 2 outcomes. Small carrier good service or sketchy stay away.

I agree, one should always ask before using another as a reference.
