Just booked a load with Johal out of NC. They were delivering in the morning and would pick up around lunch time. Talked to Jerry and was informed that they were being held up at delivery. The driver phoned the shipper and told him he could not pick up till sometime that night. The shipper closes at 3:30PM. After agreeing to pay more?? because THEY are delayed and arranging for the shipper to load Friday morning @ 6:30 AM, even though they are closed on Fridays, I get a call that the driver has still not shown up yet and it is now 8:00AM. Still no call from Johal, I phone Jerry. He now tells me that the driver has booked his own load, with his cousin, out of West Virgina and is on his way home. What a great way to run a company, give the drivers phones and let them do whatever they want. Is this a company that I will ever consider using again. Only when I book directly with the driver and it is snowing in HELL.
