Anyone else having trouble collecting

Account now stands at over 90 days and I still can get no answer, I have tried email, fax and phone nothing
 
What number are you calling for them. I just spoke with them about 30 minutes ago.

They're experienced in going broke @ JBT, they did it a number of years ago when they went by the name of Kenmore.

I also called today, we have invoices over due, one is over 110 days old. Kelly in accts payable is out until next Tuesday.
 
I have an older invoice also. I just spoke with Linda this morning though and was assured the cheque is being mailed today. They have always been slow payers with us.
 
To give an update. I did receive the cheque today I was promised on Friday. It was from an October invoice. Too slow for my liking, but did get payment.

Ralph, hate to burst your bubble, but the only person @ JBT connected to Kenmore is George. Angelo Monti owned Kenmore.

Dennis was the owner of Kenmore...the name came from his home which was on Kenmore ave/St in Cambridge. Dennis told me this personally many years ago.
 
Dennis was gone long before Kenmore went belly up, Angelo partnered up with FLS out of Quebec when things went south. I was there, day in, day out, 12 hrs a day, seen it all go down.
 
JBT now DNU
We called today & finally got Kelly in AP after numerous messages were left regarding an Inv. from last Nov. Kelly took great pride in telling us that JBT had decided to expand their fleet & had recently ordered 20 new trucks & therefore could not pay our freight bill. Hmmmm....She then told us that their accounts SHOULD be caught up by June or July. When pressured again she agreed to put our payment on the March 3rd. cheque run.
JBT was always slow paying with us but this statement pushed us over the limit of understanding...Good luck with your expansion JBT. It will NOT be with our help ever again.
 
I agree. I just got through to her and "apparently" my cheque from Oct 19 invoice is being signed today. I have worked with them several times in the past, but will not be working with them again after this ordeal! Too bad, because the dispatcher we work we have known since his days at Provider and he has always been fair to us.
 
I can't believe they actually used that excuse I bought trucks so I can't pay my bills. I bought trucks too does that mean I get to not pay my bills I DON'T THINK SO. A little integrity goes a long way which seems to be hard to find these days.
 
Well I have heard a lot of excuses but that is a good one...
they have probably been spending carriers' money on more than just trucks.

We really liked working with George, but unfortunately we have to put them on our DNU list for slow payment reasons.
 
I just noticed that if I try to search this site for "JBT" it tells me there are no results found. I thought maybe the search function was not working properly so I tested it by randomly searching another company name but results WERE found. Strange.........has anyone else experienced this?
