Jaguar Trucking - P.O. Box 96 - Dundalk, ON 519-923.3037

Who else is owed monies by the above noted company? Leanne in A/P never returns calls or faxes. Faye in the office is no better. We have had ongoing issues with these people for quite some time. They obviously have cash flow problems.

Owe small amounts since December - this account is exhausting....

STAY AWAY....BEWARE.....

I haven't heard of them, but I'll watch out if they contact me... Always nice to know who the bad ones are before they call!

Agreed - Faye historically performed a few miracles for us, I recall her being an active member here for a while... Have not seen her online in forever.

Here's hoping she sorts things out as they did provide great service in the past.

Thx,
Mike

Back in the day when we ran around with blank lease contracts and typewriters in our trucks (yeah, some of us really had typewriters) Jaguar called themselves Jaguar Mfg so that they could/would look like a private fleet.

They've been around forever.

Just an update....

Post dated cheques and over 4 months later - account finally paid.

Never to deal with again....

I know it is hard to differentiate between good people having cash flow issues and scam artists, but I have known Faye for a great many years, and she is one of the most stand up individuals I have ever met in this industry. You don't own and operate the same company for over 20 years with a good reputation if you are one of the bad guys.

Truth is right now that no matter what end of the trucking industry you are on, times are f**kin tough...fuel is thru the roof and customers do not want to pay more. Rates are driven down by companies that don't understand the true costs of operating a fleet - quoting rates that nobody can make money on. And its the time of year that many companies are renewing plates and insurance. For those of you/us who call this industry home, it is always a sad day when one of the good guys, like Jaguar, struggles to stay afloat!

It is sad.

I hope they can turn things around.

I recall using them many many years ago and I do believe Faye was driving at that time.

Good luck to them because times are tough.

I just got a letter from Markel stating Jaguar Mfg/1658045 Ontario Inc. insurance has been terminated (mid-term). Lets hope it's because they found a cheaper provider.

Thanks for the heads up MarkD. I do hope that they've found a cheaper provider and are still operating. Although, we've never done much with Jaguar (4 or 4 Shipments a year for the past 12 years) they offer consistently good service and communication.

I for one hope to see them going up and down the road for many more years to come.

Update:

I've received the Markel certificate and confirmed with the insurance broker involved that this policy #2019546 is current and valid.

False alarm.

Keep well,

Mike
