I don't see many members on anymore (7 as I write this). Has this forum run its course? Have the dissenters quieted the masses? Does everyone now know everything, or is there more to be learned from each other? Is there a way we can stimulate discussion?

Just throwin' a couple thoughts out there.

I was thinking the same thing today. I remember when there where 100 people logged in at one time. It's too bad if it is because there is great information on here.

I believe that the "numbers" on the old site were inflated as it never showed "who" was online as this one does.

I also thing that with all the "hacking" issues that they had... folks have taken this site out of their daily repertoire of sites to check in on.

There are still lots of good folks hanging around with valuable info.

Maybe we are all just busy moving freight :)
This site is quite resourceful, just finding the time to focus and provide insightful input seems to be my problem lately. They should make the days longer.

Agreed (drob),

Between working and shovelling life has been cumbersome lately.

To me, numbers are irrelevant. Getting the information I'm looking for is all that matters. I don't see many threads where people are 'left hanging'.

Keep well,
Mike

Yes...we still check in as much as possible and still use for informational purposes. Great site!

I just recently stumbled on this site and I certainly have found it useful. I'll be here to use the site and contribute as much as I can.

Site looks fresh and is just as useful as ever. As far as numbers on line at once it would be interesting to see the times of day when numbers are greater. I would expect that it mirrors the time of day and day of the week when we are the busiest. We either have no time to look at it or we are trying to look busy doing "transport" related research during those rare moments when there is not much going on. Better than having someone look over your shoulder and see you on Workopolis (or worse!)

I think, also, that some of us who are less computer friendly might be having issues with getting around the site since you have changed it. I personally miss the thread of what was going on that we had when we logged in.
The time issue is also there. It's been very busy for the past weeks and I personally have much less time to log on.
But I still enjoy the site.

I believe the increased volumes of freight as of late is limiting the available time to communicate, as well with the change in season I would hope people would be doing more outdoors and less on their computers. Just my 2 cents.
