I can't tell you anything recent, but Ippolito and its sister company, Veg Pak Produce, between the two are dominant in the Ontario/Quebec market for spinach -- Pop-I and Queen Victoria are their brands. When I dealt in produce many years ago, they were my client and they were a good one.

Spinach is one of the messier of the produce type of freight.

Ippolito always pays their invoice within 35 days.
We have never had a collection issue with late payment.

HOWEVER ... they will send a CDN cheque for a US $ invoice.
Depending on the exchange, they will pay their invoice in US or CDN whichever benefits Ippolito, doesn.t matter what you billed them or what their confirmation rate agreement is.
If you have a short paid invoice, they will never pay it and you can call till the cows home for the balance.
If there is an issue ... they will deduct $200 or $250 from your invoice, and they have the final say.... and again it.s a write off.

Their rates are usually cheap too.

I've given LTL freight to Ippolito and I've taken freight from Ippolito. I've not had any issues with them at all.
 
gave them a load last year, ended up on someone else's truck, DNU...

as for payment, I don't know...
