Interstate Freight Moves Help

Can anyone recommend a way to get competitive interstate quotes even if its the use of another US based freight broker.

Paul, we have had pretty good success using Old Dominion for our LTL Interstate moves. Rates are competitive and they service the entire US.

do you have local contact name and email if possible? i also heard from one of my US clients that they are very competitive.

The first thing to do is set up an account with them. I believe we did that on their website. After that, all the orders we place with them are done through their site, including rating, confirmations, etc. One thing that you have to ensure, is to have the shipper note the Old Dominion quote # that you receive, on the Bill of Lading. If not, they will use their book rates which are much more expensive, and the billing might not come to you. There is really no local contact that we use.
