I have dealt with a lot of IL carriers that go to Canada, but their rates are usually more expensive then CDN carriers looking to go home. So for them to tell me they will run from Chicago to Toronto for $875 - an alarm went off.

I've used these guys in the past and had no issues. I was dealing mostly with the Las Vegas office but have also used the IL guys.
However, I booked a load on them picking up in Detroit this week and it has been nothing but lie after lie from the get go. I've been in constant contact with the shipper who has not heard from the carrier since the load was supposed to pick up Tuesday. At the same time. I have been dealing with George and Dan in dispatch and keep getting "The truck is there" or "He went to the wrong address and now has to go back and return product to go get the correct product". Not to profile, but I have had too many bad experiences with IL based carriers. I'm done....rant over.

We gave a load to Diesel Express, and the truck from ICE showed up here to pick it up..

I'm sure they will do a great job on backhaul out of Canada, but I'm getting the impression they just take whatever they can get and blow you off if they find something else. That or they take a load with the intention of double brokering and when they can't find a truck, they don't answer the phone. Been on hold with them this morning twice for 20 minutes at a time and disconnected. Now both guys I deal with are conveniently out for lunch together

Interesting how neither of the dispatchers I have been dealing with will answer the phone, or email. Been on hold twice this morning at 20 minutes a pop and now they have conveniently gone to lunch together. What a bunch of crap. Good luck to anyone using them
