For the Quebec Based Carriers: Can you shed light on the following:
License fees for: 1 year.
1> Quebec plated truck only
2> Quebec and Ontario plated truck
3>Quebec, Ontario and USA plated truck?
We will be paying about $2450.00 Canadian per truck to run the lower 48 and most of Canada.
We are plated 5 axles in Quebec and good for 40825kg in Ontario.
Quebec also allows us to spread the Canadian allocation of the plate over a 12 month period. The US portion must be paid up front.
The different rate per truck is based on the purchase value of the truck( do not understand why they never depreciate the value from year to year).
