I have a tandem reefer in Delta, BC that I need to get home. For whatever reason the apple market has crashed and I can't buy a load out of there ... and I mean literally buy a load of apples ... anyways, my truck is stuck out there and I need a load home. Fuel money and wages are all I need.
 
I feel your pain. No apples during apple season?! This is beyond ridiculous........... I have no idea what is going on, in general, right now. Is this how the apocalypse begins?
I don't have decades of experience in this industry, but I have spoken to many who do and they are all saying they have never seen things this bad.

We are all feeling the pain. I have a 53 ' van coming home today with one skid. It's not funny. Luckily we just do short runs to western NY...home is never far away. If anyone has anything out in western ny please let me know. I would be just as grateful as Michael. Have a great weekend all!
 
Things were way worse in 2008 from what I've heard. I'm expecting the market should offset itself in the new year.

Anyways I only have one client that is in BC and they don't have anything now, but otherwise I would try to help.
 
Suggest going to Alberta from BB then to "home" assuming home is Toronto.
I do know there are a few freight forwarders offering BC to AB ltl.

we had a truck in Delta also. We have moved him down into the US to WA. not much better there... Broker's out that way seem to want us to pay them for a load... Ridiculous rates being offered. we got offered $3200 CDN yesterday from WY to Montreal... we refused on principle... can't encourage that even if it is 'JUST BAKING SODA' our truck's fuel tank doesn't take the rate into consideration while consuming the fuel.
