This has been an issue across the country for some time now. Truck stops and side streets have become yard space for many of these half-price trucking companies out there.

The truck stops in the GTA could make a mint enforcing truck parking. Almost every truck and or trailer is parked there while the driver is at home. Some carriers use the truck stop as a drop yard. This is not what truck stops were designed for and it messes up the real intention - to get a spot to park while you wait for your load to be ready. If there is no one in the truck, after 24 hours it should be towed, unless you made other arrangements for extended parking. Dropped trailers should be towed after one hour.

This would fix the problem real quick and you can charge a fee for arranging a parking solution. I'm really surprised that that Brampton hasn't done it.
