If I wanted someone to do a deep dive on a carrier, who would I contact?

I guess so the auctions closed and I never see the lanes pop up again. Like I said Jeff Bezos is on track to be a Trillionaire off these rates LOL

the FSC on those lanes are higher than the award rate, plus one of them is a "LIVE OFFLOAD" and its contract for 7 months. Even with electric trucks and autonomous AI drivers those rates don't make sense let alone sustainable for 7 months. Someone either has deep pockets or just extremely stupid, I'm leaning on the latter.

Seriously! Who quotes rates that low? You can’t even start a truck for rates like that, let alone run them down the road with a live driver holding the wheel. What am I missing?

We don’t get involved in any of this “auction” type freight, nor do we do anything directly for Amazon, so to see numbers like these are mind blowing to say the least. One has to wonder, who is more naive, the person bidding or the company accepting the bid?

Do these carriers get vetted, or is there a chance this is now organized crime creating fake companies and placing ridiculous bids in order to get the freight and make away with it? Anything is possible these days...

We don't do work for Amazon but from what I am hearing they are paying around $50 - $55 hr to pull their trailers locally. So maybe they figure Bolton to Hamilton takes 1 hr so $55.00. Don't know if I am right or not.

I know a few larger carriers that pulled this stunt, Relay works on a score system for carrier performance. Better your score better loads and higher volumes. To get themselves on the board, they went hella cheap and rode it out for a few months to get into a higher tier. The Key being it was for a few months (3 months if memory serves me correct). So deep pockets needed to be running at a loss for that long but cant argue with it since the end result worked out for them. BUT these rates are more than just "cheap".
