I'd forgotten about Huronview. They used to do a lot of work for me. And if I recall ran some really nice equipment. It's a shame that things went bad for them.

Didn't hear anything about anyone dying....I had spoken to the owner the day before the line's were disconnected...his response was, if you keep calling back, I'll have to call the cops for harrasment...

On-time and Huron View were/are one in the same. Dan owned/s both. He refused to bankrupt On-time the right way and just turned everything over to Huron View.

As I remember, Derrick (I think that was his name) was a great guy to deal with at Huronview and practically was the go-to guy for anything Chicago. Then I remember some other dude was doing it (not sure what happened to Derrick) and it just went to the dogs.

Was Derrick operating from Port Elgin as I remember or do I have him confused with someone else?

Derrick or Devon... I remember a Devon there.

Can't remember the office. However, I do remember Devon was not the crackerjack dispatcher that Derrick was. You could give anything to Derrick and he'd make it fly, no problems. Shame. When good carriers shut down, it's like seeing your favourite restaurant close up.
