So, I posted on Load Link for a load out of Carlisle, PA and I got a hit. A broker was offering a load that would be adequate for my needs. This isn't someone I have worked with before, so I did the responsible thing and checked their credit rating via Load Link. This is what I got back from the Transcredit enquiry. FWIW the Equifax one looked worse.

Take note of the very bottom line (hopefully it's legible). It says their bond is REVOKED !!!
Clearly they are not compliant. How can this company continue to offer freight on Load Link?

FWIW ... Equifax showed a $15,000,000.00 law suit pending that Transcredit didn't show, and Transcredit showed the revoked bond that I did not see on Equifax. I guess you have to carefully read both before making decisions.

A good lesson for anyone who thinks that checking a broker or a carrier for credit worthiness is “too much trouble, or too time consuming”. Whether the load pays $500 or $10,000, a new entity, broker or carrier, must be examined without exception. Worth every minute or even an hour it might take.

the broker in question on this is intriguing

Frequent flyer on threads on here though

haha you might as well just posted the name seeing how their MC# is clearly stated. Definitely on my DNU list

they can offer freight because all they have to do is switch from posting their trucks to posting their loads. Load link doesn't care

just like load link doesn't care when Canadian carrier post their trucks for intra usa work

there are a few of these offenders who pop up on this forum

i actually thought this company was bought by groupe guilbault a couple years ago but i was wrong i cant find anything to corroborate this thought

I am confused as the mc # listed is for a Mississauga carrier and reviews that I saw on them earlier this morning on this site were wonderful.

@vanspek ... geez, did I forget to cover that up ??? ;)
@BPOVFB ... Typically Pharma self insures the cargo and the carrier is only responsible for the first $250k. If that's a $15 million pharma cargo claim, then whoever agreed to that is an idiot.

@Michael Ludwig - I wish that was the case - but it's not with all, at 15M it's the only thing I can see ever getting to that. I've seen 25M container moves...
