I need a carrier who is equipped for the following move;

53' DryVan Trailer with Tailgate

Pick up from Montreal on the holiday Monday Aug 3rd at 3am. It will take 2-3 hours to load. Freight will begin to be ready at Midnight, as they begin to disassemble the event, event will be fully torn down by 3am.

53’ truckload w/ TAILGATE – Team Service required. Floor loaded. Driver no touch.

Needs to arrive in Squamish, BC on Wed Aug 5th no later than 1pm.
Carrier must be GPS Tracked, dispatch and truck driver must be accessible 24x7 while on route.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I just heard back from F1, this isn't a lane that they run. F1 recommended that I contact JR Hall.

Total Transportation Solutions in Scarborough or Absolute Transportation in Mississauga have the trailers you are looking for - pretty sure Total runs teams, not sure about Absolute

You could try Total but I know they're already extremely busy that particular weekend with the Panam and Para-Panam games.

I don't know if they run there, but I can think of 3 that do events that may have the equipment and drivers:

Stage Door

Thanks for the info everyone. Our logistics team has spoken with a few carriers, and we provided a couple of options to our client.

Yes, that particular weekend is an ugly one, we have a lot of stuff scheduled as well for that weekend. Seems that a large group of shippers wants service on holidays or Sundays so far this summer. Its insane the amount of Sunday pickup requests we've been receiving lately, yet alone 3am picks on a stat holiday.

FYI (re: " Asking for Rates")..... the budget was no-more than $12,500 to a carrier for this move. We asked carriers what it would take $ wise to accomplish this load given the requirements, timeframe and conditions .... A number of carriers contacted by us asked what we had in it for them.... my answer was "enough to ensure we all make some good money for the job required", We had carriers provide pricing from 7,600 to 12,5000..... rest assured the 7600 carrier isn't the one we presented to our client.

FYI its surprising who is willing to run pretty much anywhere when the money is correct Money talks.. bulls**t walks. If you are a broker.. pay your carriers well, treat them with respect, pay accessorials and freight bills in less than 30 days and they will run pretty much anywhere for you. It works for us....
