Hauling from US to Mexico

Can a Canadian carrier haul a load from US that is being exported?

Your input will be highly appreciated.

Road King, I assume you mean "exported" to Mexico.

In my opinion as long as the truck/trailer/driver cross an international border it's legal. This would be no different than picking up aload in the US destined for Canada and dropping the trailer before it crossed the border.

I highly doubt that you would take a load to go into Mexico with your own equipment, and if you do , good luck to you.

Generally such loads will travel trough the USA on a IT US bond and the freight will be unloaded at a U.S. - Mexican border crossing such as Laredo TX or Eagle Pass TX.

And as such if you picked up in California and dropped in a U.S. border city warehouse you have in effect committed cabotage, as the freight did not actually go into Mexico on your own truck.
