Do you require a special permit to haul alcohol? I've dealt with flatbed freight and have never come across this question. Can somebody please help

Depending on where you are planning on transporting it makes all the difference. Some States require permits, some do not, some require a license to transport etc. Some require only if you are picking up or delivering in the particular state.

Without more info, that's the best I can do.

What kind of Alcohol?
Wine usually don't require any permits
Liquor over 15% only
etc...
All depends where and what! :)

just need permit for beer. Many people haul that, shouldn't have any problem booking it! :)

What about Liquor?

Source: Ontario
Destination: Ontario

From Distillery to Distributors or LCBO Warehouses.

Liquor more than 15% requires permits, I think... - G Zavitz 905-356-4945 haul alcohol with permits and all. You can check directly with them, they should have better infos then me! :)

Anyone here land a local cartage contract for Beer or Mixed Drinks cartage from LCBO DC's to retail convenience stores in Ontario?

Thanks @Rob, I was pretty sure it was Canada Cartage, just wasn't sure if anyone else was going the work aside from them.

Mel Hall, now we are going back a few years :)
