Has anyone heard of these people? We did one load of watermelons in April for them and never got paid, I've emailed them but no response. I've phoned there and they put you on perma-hold.

Five minutes after I asked Loadlink and DAT to block them I got a phone call from Robert at good Guys stating they paid us, he gave me a date when they deposited money in our account. The amount was short $50 and we didn't get any notification who sent us the money. After recieving a strange unknown deposit We sent emails to their accounting email and their broker email along with a dozen other companies asking who annonamously deposited into our account , Good Guy never responded. I e-mailed them for two weeks solid and no response then finally they call pissed off.............we don't want them as a customer, we don't know why they deducted $50 but dealing with them wasn't like having a partner in business.

we still have one invoice pending and they are gone. not replying to emails. neither phones are working., is there any other way to get payment of our invoice
have you contacted both the shipper and receiver. They may or may not be this brokers customer but if not they might be able to advise who they sold the product to so you can contact that person/company.

Contact the receiver / shipper works wonders - especially if you have everything documented

Every load that I have chased after Good Guys for payment, seemed to be consigned to a large produce wholesaler in Milton (east side of Hwy 25 north of 401). Unfortunately, it appears that most of what Good Guys "handled" was agricultural products and therefore exempt from the FMCSA surety bond requirement.
