Has anyone been getting calls from these people about acquiring your carrier package so the can set up your profile on their "app" ?
Is this place legit?
If so, aren't they just a little late to the dinner table?

I could hardly understand the guy ... sounded like he was using dial-up VoIP and a headset he got from Staples for $19.95, but from what I could gather from the conversation it's just another loadboard that has no hope of gaining any market traction whatsoever.

I am pretty sure that they posted on this site a while ago, introducing their new and improved load and truck sourcing platform. I believe it was during the availability crunch of earlier this year, right after E-Logs went into effect. If memory serves me, they were adamant that their system had an ample supply of available trucks. After further investigation, it turns out that they skim somewhere between 20-30% off the rate for a carrier to have the privilege of dealing with them. I believe they are based in BC.

They called me today. First response was 'please send me your carrier packet'. Red Flag. Didn't even explain who or what he was. Directed me to their site after I asked a few questions and wasn't getting straight answers. Out of Vancouver.

Their app does look like a well laid out platform . I always feel sorry for investors that get told that this is going to be the next big thing in load boards. I've seen so many start ups in this area fail. The issue is as we all know that Loadlink has all the carriers and all the brokers on it. It's very difficult for any of us to change our daily routines to start posting on other boards and getting no results. It doesn't matter how fancy these new systems are which a lot of them do have much better features than the Link but without the critical mass of users, it just won't work. Someone needs to come up with a new angle on this where the carriers have a simple way to sign up and get some good quality paying loads out of it, with little to no extra effort. Not sure if that is even possible but technology is changing faster than we can keep up with these days....

I don't know, if Michael and Rob are involved it sounds a little fishy to me...

@TransAction ... Even Uber Freight (so far) can't crack the Loadlink/DAT nut. How could "Fly-by-Night-Loadboard Inc." possibly hope to compete?
What they all fail to understand is the shipper base does not want to go back to hosting its own carrier management team. That's why they hire load brokers. For those unfamiliar with the concept, it is universally known as "Outsourcing".
When load brokers want trucks beyond the scope of their carrier portfolio, they reach out to the most popular place to find carriers ... LoadLink. They don't go "bar hopping". No one has time to go bar hopping anymore. Why the hell do you think online dating was invented ??? ... LOL.
