Did 2 loads with them first one had lots of runaround and had to get the customer involved and Global finally released payment after 103 days and on the second load it wasn't as bad and received payment after 76 days. Both loads were under $1000 so my opinion if your desperate and want to fight for a few hundred bucks then go ahead and work with them.
 
Wish my dispatch department had asked me to research this company before we did a load for them...

My invoice is just about to go over 90 days. We were told a cheque was mailed over three weeks ago.

Guy answering the phone only seems to speak in one-word sentences and when I ask for the owner, well he never seems to be there, and doesn't seem willing to return messages.

I will be talking to their customer today.
 
Well, I got my payment from that load...

But only after I called and left a message for the CFO at Hydro One, their customer.

I thought that was the end of the story... but...

My dispatchers in all their wisdom, decided to have another go with these guys... haahahahaaa....

We are up to 85 days so far this time around... The owner of the company never seems to be available when payment time comes...

I have already called their customer on this load, unfortunately it's not a large company like Hydro One...

Beware people... My dispatch has now been ordered to X these guys off our system... They may come looking for your trucks now...
 
Got my cheque today...

It would seem one only needs to call and discuss with their customer in order to get payment flowing...

If my dispatchers ever take me down this road again, I'll just call the customer on the load at around 30 days and wait for the cheque... :cool:
 
we had severe run around with these guys last year -- ended up paying but only after several personal visits and endless phone calls. Stay away!
