Has anyone used GDFL ? Never heard of them before today, Ashlee calls and talks like she's known me all her life, send the freight, domestic to Eastern QC, but I don't know....too fast talking

A trucking company operating out offices at Yonge-Sheppard Centre? Seems weird, actually seems weird even for a freight broker.

I'd bet that this is a shared office space. So it could be a couple of fast-talkers, they just can't operate in their underwear because they're in public.

Gave them LTL but they sent in a truck that couldn't fit it, not recommended in my opinion

Did anyone end up working with GDFL? They reached out for an LTL posting going east but something seems odd, not sure if I'm being paranoid.

Provided me a false WSIB certificate with obviously changed dates. Blames Ashley and said she was fired. Calls me several times a week to see how we could move forward. Now has broker authorities on FMSCA.

GDFL Corp has had their FMCSA carrier authorities revoked today as Fenchurch Insurance did not validate their insurance continuance. Their FMCSA broker authorities are pending cancellation as well.

I think everyone needs to do their research before speculating. Ashlee was only an employee for this company and the employer put her name and face on front of the company while the owner did what he did and shut down the company. I believe she left in January prior to the closure and was already at Blue Lotus. I worked with Ashlee before GDFL, never an issue, worked with her with GDFL, absolute shit and then, I've worked with Blue Lotus, not an issue at all! Ashlee was only an employee and seemed to always try to solve my issues and the true owner hid behind someone he hired for all the issues he caused in my opinion .She's been around a lot longer than GDFL including some big companies that I tried to shy away from. As I continued to work with her at Blue Lotus, I have not had any issues and quite a bit of work over the past 3 months since she reconnected with me.
I was shocked to come across this as I can't believe the ex owner is actually insulting someone's reputation for his failures.

She wasn't fired from what I gather. He wasn't paying his staff, drivers or carriers ... Blamed her, he tried talking to me to try to get me to say bad things about her service which she was the only one who ever helped or tried to help me when I needed it

I've used GDFL, shit and now I think the owner was pulling some funny games. I've been working with Ashlee, before, during and after GDFL. I don't think she's the issue since I've had no issues over the past 3 months with her at her new location with either LTL or full loads service.
