GB Trucking Whitby

I started working there when they first opened a couple years ago. Stopped in June of 2025 because they are no longer doing 53 dry vans in the GTA. I was always paid on time, never had an issue. I am with Canada Cartage now and they are also good to deal with.
 
Well they are now going under a NEW Name Trans Atlantic or 9440-2369 Quebec Inc dba Trans Atlantic out of Laval. The funny thing this is when they come at the Broker they are using this but they are still emailing the actual Carrier under GB Trucking so I am not sure how they are still seeing loads and getting away with this.

We even found out that "Dave" even brings in his Factoring company Riviera Finance and sent theor signiture in the email to say they will not buy your invoices and now because of that he holds your freight hostage till paid in full meanwhile the load is under another carrier all together.

I called Amy at Riviera Finance and she did confirm they were an account with them however she was not the person in charge of that account so I under good faith I paid this scumbag as he had my load. Be aware and stay away from all parties on this
 
Wish we had seen this sooner, they double brokered one of our loads and the driver disappeared. No accountability, won't respond to any calls, e-mails. STAY AWAY, what a complete disaster.
 
Got the confirmation they double brokered our load with route king transport. Awaiting elog infos to release payment to them instead. They were quick on going after the consignee but were really bad in seeing the scam coming up. They have requested the good old " driver must identify as a GB trucking driver at all times.... That in itself should be enough to get you worried.
 
Ferrai, why are you defending her with a fabricated story, trying to defend GB Trucking? This tells me that you are a part of GB Trucking too. There is no GB Trucking to be found at 105 Consumers' Drive in Whitby. I went there, and I was told by the owner of the plaza and the lady who runs the plaza that they never heard of Bobby, Ramin, or Jen. I also went to the Brampton address, and I was told that GB Trucking is using a mail box address from the UPS store, and the suite number at the UPS address was deliberately switched up to confuse truckers. I still haven't gotten paid from GB Trucking after we used our truck to drive all over the Greater Toronto Area to pick up loads and deliver to Montreal and Quebec, then return to Toronto with a full load from Montreal and deliver to 4 different business places in Toronto since February of 2024. After we reached out to one of thebrokerss on the paperwork and one of the places where we pick up the loads from, and informed them that GB Trucking is not a registered business and that they are using a fake address from Whitby, we received notice of a small claims court lawsuit for $35,000 in our email within an hour of making the call. We had an online Court hearing the 1st week of September, and the same Takabarie guy showed up to represent GB Trucking, their was no one from the company except for the paralegal Takabarie what ever his name is. I told the judge to make sure that the owners of the company show up for the next hearing because we cannot defend ourselves if we don't know who is suing us, and that I wanted their names, because the Ontario business registry is showing that the company is owned by B Kakimi. The judge told the paralegal that his clients have to be present for the next hearing. I am still waiting to be summoned for the next hearing because I have evidence to show that the paralegal is not registered at or has a physical address at the place that he gave to the judge and us. They likely abounded the lawsuit. I was patiently waiting for the opportunity in court to ask the judge to investigate the plaintiff and the paralegal. Not to my surprise, this Fiarrie guy is on this thread recommending that the truck drivers who have been duped contact the same paralegal who is representing GB Trucking. No wonder it took less than an hour for the people who are hiding behind GB Trucking to file a small claims court action against us to shut us up. The Canadian government need to have these people investigated and prosecuted.

You are a part of the scamming too, GB Trucking, nor the Ontario Inc business that they are operating under, never once operated at 105 Consumers' Drive. I have evidence to prove that. Yes, the tenants had some issues late 2025, but I have been there multiple times in February and March of 2025 trying to find Bobby, Jen, and, Kylie. The owners told me that they have never heard of you guys and there are no trucking companies operating there. As a matter of fact, the property manager told me that she has been working at 105 Consumer's drive for 20 years. And may I ask, why are you guys printing 104 Consumer's Drive on all of your receipts and bills? How about the Brampton address, isn't it the address of a UPS store? And how come the same Bill Hacaberry that you are recommending is the same Bill Hacaberry who is representing GB Trucking as a paralegal against me and a relative in a slap lawsuit? Is it a coincidence? You also stated that you got paid after 60 days as stipulated in the contract, so please explain to me why me and my relative haven't been paid after 11 months. Did you think that we used water to fuel our truck?

Not just the driver's they hire that they are screwing. I took several loads from Bobby out of the Whitby Office and I use that term very loosely. Its has been months of chasing them for payment, empty promises. The usual check is in the mail(Ramin). These guys are a straight up scam so be wary, or better avoid them all together.
 
We did load for them on October 30, 2025, and have not received any payment- Trois-Rivières, QC to Brookfield, NS.
Does anyone have an update on who to contact for payment, as all my calls & emails are unanswered.
