GB Trucking Whitby

I gave them a shipment a couple weeks back. all went well...communication, service, billing. Their invoices are factored through SG Capital. Ill be interested to hear in this thread if it was a scam...

Dealt with them for 2 years, all payments go to SG Capital, which I think is Scotlynn Group. Good communication, service has been good and they are strong in Ontario and Quebec LTL and full loads.

Booked a load with them to pick up last Friday from QC to BC. Last minute, the driver was pulled over and told he was out of hours (BS story). All good for today though, until I got another story this morning. Looks like they sure went downhill fast
 
I have used them for local and Montreal work for about a year. Service is decent and communication is usually good.

I'd bet this is double brokered.

We almost booked an ON to AB with these folks a few months back... I called their insurance broker to ask how many trucks they have listed etc, etc. Then she (The broker) says "where is this load going?" I said "Alberta." She said... "Oh, they only have insurance for Ontario"

This is quite alarming as I've used them a few times in the last couple months but only within ON, but they would also quote me moves outside of ON as well.

Decent rates and communication. Just one issue with a truck breakdown which dragged out delivery for a few more days.
 
BE CAREFUL EVERYONE, these guys are no.1 scam. They scam their drivers and they never pay them. There is no website or google or a physical company address. If you are here you know what I'm talking about. Basically they are ghosts online you can barely find any information about them because they hire drivers just to scammed them and not pay them at all. I was scammed and worked hard fot these guys only to find out that they never pay their drivers. After digging deep I now found few other drivers that worked for them and got scammed. We are all going to file a big lawsuit against them soon. So Shippers and Frieght broker and Drivers be very careful and think 100 times before dealing with these scammers. They pretend to have two offices but if you go there, they don't even exist one is in Whitby

That's is correct. They use that number company and operate under GB Trucking. Literally this is the only thread where you can find some information about them and discuss their scam. They are hiding on all online platforms so people can't expose their scam.
