Identity and Load Theft
It has been brought to our attention that thieves are stealing the identity of the carrier AB Freight Inc. in order to book and steal loads.
The loads they have stolen had been posted on a load brokering website, but not actually booked using the website, as the thieves phoned directly for the loads.
It was reported that the thieves are using the following contact phone numbers:
(647) 972-5419
(647) 776-7556
They also provided a CVOR # of 139-976-157.
If you encounter anyone trying to book a load using any of the above contact or CVOR numbers, and/or posing as the carrier AB Freight Inc., please ensure you follow up to verify that they are in fact AB Freight Inc, a legitimate carrier whose identity is unfortunately being stolen. To avoid further theft of identities or loads, please keep your eyes and ears out.
