Anyone with current dealings and/or payment history on Freight Link Express - 2740 Slough Street - Mississauga - would be appreciated. Thank you.
 
just wondering

how did you make out with Freight Link? did you do any work and where you paid ?
 
Our receivable was due end of March - I called yesterday and was told it would be paid sometime next week. I used to deal with the owner of this company directly - Jey - very nice man and honest - unfortunately he passed away a couple months ago in a horrible car accident. I believe his family and/or relatives have taken over - I don't know them. I am constantly receiving credit reference forms to complete so they are seeking credit all over. Not always a good sign...so at this point I really don't know about the new operations of Freight Link. I hope they would conduct themselves as honorably as Jey did previously.
 
FLEX - Freight Link Express - Mississauga

Anyone else currently experiencing a big "slow down" in payments with FLEX -Freight Link Express?

Paying very slow the last couple of months....
 
Anyone else having issues with FLEX? Their slow down in payment has hit the "serious mark" - something not right here....

They seem to be operating cheque to cheque at the moment...beyond scary....
 
Any loads we do with them have to be paid before delivery.

Bounced cheques with us also. Deal with Anitto to get that resolved and make sure you add on any bank fees to the replacement.
 
Any updates on this company Flex Freight Canada on Slough St?

I just picked up 5 skids for them out of TX and then just read this thread.

Ensure the freight has NOT been double brokered. FLEX is desperately trying to move freight with "anyone" at the moment.

Ensure you get your money upfront BEFORE the freight delivers...or you will be sorry.....
 
I'm not so sure I wouldn't hold the freight hostage at this point. At the very least, inspect the BL before you deliver to determine who routed it so you know whose freight it actually is.

I can't believe I'm saying this as a broker. The fact that companies pull this sort of crap just makes me sick.
 
I called the receiver and they specifically said that they are moving the freight with Anito at Flex Freight. This time it is legit. I will have to make sure I stay on top of them for payment.
 
Please be advised FLEX is also operating as FLEX Freight Canada.

Looks like they are using "another name" as well as the original.

Phone number is 905-677-5465 and the address is 7530 Bath Road (2 down from FLEX at 7532 Bath Road).

Received a copy of their "new" load sheet.

Funny how they're moving around the same enclave over there -- Bath is off of Slough ... even same property management I think.

Apparently they're still paying rent.
 
I'm so glad for this site..I was going to book a TX return to ONT but I think I would rather wait a day or two and find something else...ps I use this site daily to check out brokers before I book with them..I wish more people would do same then maybe we can rid ourselves of the scum.
